Darden Towe Park is a 110-acre park located near the intersection of Route 20 and Route 250 in Albemarle County. The park is jointly operated by the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The park's recreational features include 1 field for Little League baseball, 3 softball fields, 4 multi-purpose rectangular fields, 4 tennis courts, running trails. Other amenities include a dog park, wheelchair-accessible playground, a picnic shelter with a seating capacity of 50 and restrooms that are open at certain parts of the year. There is also canoe and kayak access to the Rivanna River, which serves as one of the park's boundaries.
