D&R Development was a development firm consisting of Lee Danielson and Colin Rolph. They had an initiative called Charlottesville 2000 that sought to invigorate the Downtown Mall. One of their ideas was to renovate four buildings in the 100 block of East Main Street. The project fell apart when their plans fell short of the Board of Architectural Review guidelines. The company fell apart. [1]
