Cynthia "Cindi" Burket is chair of the Albemarle County Republican Committee.[1]

Burket is one of ten candidates for the position of interim Scottsville District Representative on the Albemarle Board of Supervisors following the June 2013 resignation of Christopher Dumler.[2] She ran unsuccessfully for Albemarle County School Board in 2011 and served as president of the Albemarle Charlottesville Republican Women's League in 2008.[3]

Education

Burket earned a B.S. in Law Enforcement and Correction from Penn State University and a M.A. in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice from George Mason University in 1974 and 1981, respectively.[3]
