County's Entrance Corridors

Development in Albemarle County's 23 Entrance Corridors is subject to the design review of the Architectural Review Board.
According to the County's website, entrance corridors consist of:
- All parcels of land (to the full depth of the parcel), in existence on 10/30/90, which are contiguous to the rights-of-way of a County road or highway designated in Section 30.6.2b of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance as an "entrance corridor street"; or
- All parcels of land that are located within five hundred (500) feet of the right-of-way of a County road or highway designated in Section 30.6.2b of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance as an "entrance corridor street."[1]

- US Route 250 West (Rockfish Gap Turnpike)
- US Route 29 North (Seminole Trail)
- US Route 29 South (Monacan Trail)
- US Route 29/250 Bypass (Monacan Trail/Richmond Road)
- US Route 29 Business (Fontaine Avenue)
- VA Route 20 North (Stony Point Road)
- VA Route 20 South (Scottsville Road)
- VA Route 631 South (Fifth Street Extended/Old Lynchburg Road) from Charlottesville City limits to #VA Route 708 (Red Hill Road) and
- VA Route 631 (Rio Road West) from US Route 29 North (Seminole Trail) to VA Route 743 (Hydraulic Road)
- Interstate Route 64
- VA Route 6 (Irish Road)
- VA Route 742 (Avon Street Extended)
- VA Route 22 (Louisa Road)
- VA Route 151 (Critzers Shop Road)
- VA Route 231 (Gordonsville Road)
- VA Route 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway)
- VA Route 649 (Airport Road) from US Route 29 North (Seminole Trail) to VA Route 606 (Dickerson Road)
- VA Route 743 (Hydraulic Road)
- VA Route 654 (Barracks Road)
- VA Route 240 (Crozet Avenue/Three Notch'd Road)
- VA Route 631 (Rio Road East) from US Route 29 North (Seminole Trail) easterly to the Norfolk Southern Railway tracks
- VA Route 743 (Hydraulic Road) from US Route 29 North (Seminole Trail) to VA Route 676 (Earlysville Road).
