Charlottesville Pride Community Network
The Charlottesville Pride Community Network is a non-profit organization established in 2012 as a support network for gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans-gendered and queer individuals in the greater Charlottesville area. The group is also known as Cville Pride.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Charlottesville Pride Community Network: To create a vibrant, visible, and unified LGBTQ community presence in Charlottesville and its surrounding region that promotes equality and integrates groups and individuals through events, outreach, resource-sharing, networking, and communications initiatives.
Cville Pride held Charlottesville's first-ever LGBTQ Pride Festival in September 2012 at Lee Park. The second festival was held on September 14, 2013. The Charlottesville City Council passed a resolution acknowledging the day, but the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors deadlocked on a similar motion. [1]
The third festival was held on September 13, 2014. [2]
