C. Purcell McCue represented the Samuel Miller Magisterial District on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors for 36 years. [1] He was elected in November 1919 and served through 1955.[2] He was chairman in 1948. [3]
In January 1952, he and another supervisors supported county executive Dan A. Robinson on a mechanism for how livestock should be assessed for tax purposes. [4]
