The C’Ville-ian Brewing Company opened on West Main Street in 2014 after owner Stephen Gibbs began operations in his garage the previous year. [1] Reviews were generally not positive, “Out of 56 places in Charlottesville to get beer, we’re rated number 56, Dead last in all categories” according to Chris Kyle, the manager of C’Ville-ian Brewing Company in mid-2016.[2]

C’Ville-ian Brewing Company closed in 2016 and was replaced by Snowing in Space. [3]
