Buckingham Branch Railroad is a Class III short-line railroad operating over 200 miles track in Central Virginia, including Charlottesville-Albemarle. They lease and operate a line between Richmond and Clifton-Forge[1].
Buckingham Branch shares overhead traffic with CSX and Amtrak. The company's headquarters are in Dillwyn.
