Brookwood is a single family and townhome neighborhood off 5th Street developed by by Southern Development.
Development review timeline
- 6/13/2006: Planning Commission public hearing for rezoning to Planned Unit Development concludes with unanimous vote to recommend approval.[1]
- 8/14/2007: The Planning Commission denied a steep slopes waiver for Phase V citing concerns with stormwater runoff[2].
- 10/9/2007: The Planning Commission granted a steep slopes waiver for Phase V after a new site plan depicted the creation of a pocket park as well as a rain garden[3].
- 7/22/2008: Planning Commission considers site plan for Phase 6, five townhouses that front Fifth Street Extended. Approval recommended unanimoisly[4].
