The Boar's Head Inn is a resort hotel owned by the University of Virginia Foundation. Since purchasing the property in 1988, the Foundation has invested nearly $20 million to upgrade the Inn[1].

Personal appearance suspension

In September 2010, tennis coach Ron Manilla was suspended for not removing his beard, a violation of the appearance standards by which employees are to adhere. Manila's suspension was revoked after members of the tennis club complained[2].
