The portion where the diner operates was built in 1949 and housed a restaurant known as the Waffle House.

The first incarnation of the diner opened in 1979 and closed in 2004 to become the commissary for Harvest Moon Catering. It reopened in 2006 the new ownership of Laura Galgano. Jerry Downer was the owner in April 1998. [4]
