The Places29 Master Plan calls for a pedestrian-only bridge over U.S. 29 at the southern end of Berkmar Drive and Fashion Square Mall. [1]
As of January 2021, there are no concrete plans for such a project in development.
Background
Chapter of the Places29 plan states that: 'A pedestrian/bicycle bridge between the end of Berkmar Drive and the western edge of the Fashion Square Mall property would increase connectivity between the southeastern and southwestern portions of the intersection area.'
