Amanda Poncy is the Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the city of Charlottesville.[1]
Her responsibilities include coordinating bicycle and pedestrian planning efforts between the city, Albemarle County, and the Virginia Department of Transportation; addressing questions and complaints from bicyclists and pedestrians; evaluating development proposals for their accommodation of bicyclists and pedestrians; and overseeing the city’s Safe Routes to School program.
