The Alliance of Neighborhoods (AoN) was created in 2008 in order to protect the quality of life of Charlottesville and Albemarle County neighborhoods. Any neighborhood association, homeowners' or condominium association, or individual can become a member. All members meet four times a year, known as the Assembly, and the members elect a board of directors which meets 9 times a year. [1]
