The Albemarle County School Board is the governing body of Albemarle County Public Schools.
Current Membership
The board has seven elected members, six of which represent magisterial districts. A seventh seat is elected at-large.
- Ron Price (Rivanna), Chairman
- Eric Strucko (Samuel Miller), Vice Chairman
- Steve Koleszar (Scottsville)
- Diantha McKeel (Jack Jouett)
- Barbara Massie Mouly (White Hall)
- Pam Moynihan (Rio)
- Harley L. Miles (At-Large)[1]
Superintendent: Dr. Pam Moran
Chairman
The members select a Chair annually from among their members at the reorganization meeting each January. The current chair, Ron Price, announced that he will resign effective January 6, 2011[2].
