The Albemarle County Board of Equalization is responsible for hearing taxpayers' appeals and objections about values assigned during real-estate assessments. [1] It is composed of six appointed county property owners.[2]

  • Virginia Gardner, White Hall District, Term Expires 12/31/2012
  • Kevin Quick, Scottsville District, Term Expires 12/31/2012
  • William Rich, Rio District, Term Expires 12/31/2012
  • John Lowry, Samuel Miller District, Term Expires 12/31/2012

Members are paid $45 per meeting. Meetings are scheduled when necessary.
