ACAC is a fitness and wellness club in Albemarle Square, Downtown, and in Old Trail in Crozet. Now a chain, ACAC was founded as the Atlantic Coast Athletic Club in Charlottesville in 1984 by Phil Wendel but now has locations in Richmond, VA, Westchester, PA. It is known for its focus on serving a clientele of all ages and fitness levels[1].

Clientele

ACAC now has 38,000 members between its locations. According to its website, 52% of those members include families and 25% are over the age of 55[2]..
