1000-1002 Grove Street is a vacant lot in Fifeville zoned for a Planned Unit Development. Two 2-story houses constructed in the early 1890s were located on the site until their demolition in 2007.[1] In 2006, it was the site of a proposed six-home infill PUD by Mark Saunders and V.G. Sullivan.[2] The application was recommended for denial by a 4-2 vote of the Planning Commission on July 11, 2006 amid neighborhood opposition, but was subsequently approved by Council 4-2 on October 2, 2006.[3][4]
