Thomas Olivier

Thomas Olivier moved to Albemarle County in 1981 and is an expert on biodiversity. He is a member of Albemarle County's Natural Heritage Committee.

Olivier was chair of the Piedmont Group of the Sierra Club from December 2010 to December 2012 succeeding John Cruickshank.[1][2]

Olivier is a past member of the Board of Directors for the group Advocates for a Sustainable Albemarle Population.[3][4]

Mr. Olivier spoke at an Albemarle Board of Supervisor's meeting on February 25, 2013 voicing his support for Chris Dumler after 14 separate local citizens called for his removal. "I value Mr. Dumler as a person and a neighbor"[5]
