• 1883 – Located at 632 W. Main Street, the new church building for the "First Baptist Church - Colored" was completed at a cost of $6,098.60 plus $120.00 for extra ceiling work (equivalent in purchasing power to about $184,000 in 2023). John C. Sinclair was the builder. Dedicated on January 2, 1884, this building served the Delevan Baptist Church congregation until 2007.
