- 1905 – After arriving at Pine Knot on October 31, President and Mrs. Roosevelt return to Washington.
- 1921 – The George Rogers Clark statue was unveiled. Located on University Avenue in the Corner district on the grounds of University of Virginia in Charlottesville. It was funded by Paul Goodloe McIntire and sculpted by Robert Ingersoll Aitken; Removed by the University of Virginia on July 11, 2021.
- 1969 – Cora Ross, a Black citizen of Charlottesville throughout the twentieth century whose portrait photograph forms a part of the Holsinger Studio Collection, died at her Fifeville home. She was buried at Lincoln Cemetery.
