I removed this cat because it didn't exist, yet, and I'm wondering if we need it. There are other subcats in Transportation that might work ("studies")? All roads sort of fit "planning", as would "funding." As I type this, maybe it should go under "funding," as that's what drives inclusion on the TIP? The TIP isn't really a study, but is used as a live planning document. I'll be adding an image to this which shows what each entry looks like. As we build out, I'd like each project on the TIP to have its own entry. I do like how you simply included this under "transportation funding." Other documents in that category would include VDOT's Six Year Plan, the County's list of secondary road funding and possibly others I'll create. --Seantubbs 18:24, 4 August 2009 (EDT)

Mistake in printed FY09-FY12 TIP

The Coal Tower trail is listed on the TIP, but it's in the wrong place. The project is not an illustrative one, but eligible and receiving SAFETEA-LU funding. For now, I've placed this under miscellaneous projects, but I'll check with MPO staff at some point to find a better place for it to go.--Seantubbs 21:01, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
