I'd like to add more information on crime in the area, particularly on murders in our community.
The following is information on murder in Charlottesville in 2014.
ONE: Antonio Lamar Washington, 30, stabbed on May 10 at Alhamraa restaurant suspects arrested June 2 - Taneak Quvaughn Turner primary, Antwan Terrell Roberts accomplice He was set to appear in Charlottesville District Court on August 7

History of public safety in the community
- The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors discussed an emergency operations plan at its meeting on October 16, 1975. Minutes for that meeting are here
