Protocol question

There's likely no need for us to create a page for the Phi Society, because the one on Wikipedia is so thorough. However, I'm not sure if we want external links in the body of articles. Thoughts?--Seantubbs 22:59, 6 August 2009 (EDT)

I'm not sure there's a need to create a page for Phi society, but not for the reason you say. Is it relevant/notable to the area? If it is, it should get its own page here. If not, just leave it unlinked. We have lots of articles where wikipedia is more thorough (at least for the moment), and I don't think you'd say those should all not have articles here. I agree we don't want external links in the body. So, options should be to create the "phi society" page, put the wiki link in the "external links", or ignore the link altogether (I think people are pretty good at googling those things that aren't wiki'd here?).
