Sean Nelson is a Louisa County native. He became the District Engineer for the Virginia Department of Transportation's Culpeper District in October 2021. [1] [2]

Biography
Nelson graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in civil engineering. He began work for VDOT in 2005. Before being named to the Culpeper District, he had been deputy director for maintenance and operations for the Hampton Roads District. [3]
