Ronald Wiggans was the director of finance for Albemarle County from May 2004 until his retirement in February 2011.
Wiggans was named to the position after serving in similar positions in three Texas cities. He holds an undergraduate degree in government and economics from the University of Texas, Austin and a master in public administration from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas, Austin[1].
