Ron Pulliam

Ron Pulliam is the creator of the Gallaster Equine Center, a farm that uses horses to treat at-risk children and children with special needs.

About

Pulliam bought the farm that hosts the equine therapeutic center in Afton in 1970. Together with his wife, Lorelei Pulliam, the couple run a camp that utilizes the animals on the farm to teach children life lessons and characteristics to help them to be more successful in life. In 2009 the couple was recognized for their work in the community as one of the Daily Progress Distinguished Dozen.[1]
