Robert Charles Walker (July 19, 1883 – June 18, 1932; known as "Bob" Walker), served for ten years on the city council, first as councilman from the Second Ward and later as member of the Board of Aldermen. [1] After graduating from the University of Richmond (1905) he came to Charlottesville and was employed as a law writer for ten years with the Michie Company. In 1919, he joined his brother, A. P. Walker, and forming the firm of Walker and Walker.

In 1910, he married Etta Tyler (1887-1929). Bob Walker died in 1932 and was buried in the family section of Maplewood Cemetery.
