Riaan Anthony became the director of the Charlottesville Parks and Recreation Department on July 1, 2024, succeeding Arthur Dana Kasler. Anthony had served as the interim director for previous nine months. Anthony has worked in the Parks and Recreation Department with the city for nine years. [1]
