The Rapidan Service Authority is a nonprofit subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia that consists of Greene County, Madison County and Orange County.

History
The RSA was founded in 1969 when the Boards of Supervisors of each county adopted a resolution to create it on June 2 of that year. Amendments to the original resolution were made in 1980, 1984, 2011. In 2021, there is a resolution to recognize Greene County's decision to withdraw. [1]
