Phil Bradley was the sole survivor of the Bucks Elbow Mountain plane crash on October 30, 1959. Three crew members and 23 passengers peridhse [1]
Bradley organized a memorial to the plane crash in Mint Springs Valley Park in Albemarle County. He died in 2013 of pancreatic cancer.
