Park's Edge Apartmentsis a multi-family apartment complex located on Whitewood Road in Albemarle County that serves families that are between 40 and 50 percent of the area median income.
The Piedmont Housing Alliance recently purchased the complex and to rehabilitate it using low-income housing tax credits. [1]
The complex was formerly known as Whitewood Village prior to renovation in 2004-2005 by the Albemarle Housing Improvement Program[2].

- October 1, 2003 – Albemarle County Board of Supervisors adopt an anti-displacement plan related to renovation of the community and construction of a community center. [3]
