People and Congregations Engaged in Ministry is a non-profit organization that operates a seasonal emergency shelter for the homeless every winter. Colleen Keller is the current executive director. Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris formerly held that position. PACEM has been the beneficiary of both years of Cville Pie Fest. In 2009, the contest raised over $1,300 and raised $500 in 2010[1].
