Old Ivy Road bridge

The Old Ivy Road bridge was built in 1961 to carry vehicles over the 29 / 250 Bypass. A $3.3 million project to replace the bridge got underway in February 2025 and is expected to be completed by September 2026. [1]

A design public hearing to replace the bridge is scheduled for March 11, 2020 at the Holiday Inn Charlottesville-University Area. [2][dead link]
