Nelson County Service Authority is a public body created by the Nelson County Board of Supervisors in 1986 to provide water and sewer services in designated portions of the county.

Facilities
The authority offers service at Wintergreen, Lovingston, Shipman, Colleen, Schuyler, Gladstone, and Piney River. [1]
On March 11, 2022, officials broke ground on an $18.5 million project to replace the wastewater treatment plant at Wintergreen. [2]
