Mountain Grove

Mountain Grove is an Albemarle County home located near Schuyler that was built in the early 19th century that is on the National Register of Historic Places. [1]

History

The home was built by Benjamin Harris, a Revolutionary War captain. The two-story three-bay home is flanked by two single-bay, 1.5 story wings in the Jeffersonian-Palladian style. [1] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. An addition to one of the wings was built in 2005.
