History

The property used to be the site of the After-Six Shirt Factor

In FY1992, the project received $100,000 in Community Development Block Grants as part of the overall financing package towards acquiring the property. [1] The property transferred to the Piedmont Housing Alliance when that organization was created.

Charlottesville City Council approved a resolution supporting the project at their meeting on April 15, 1991. [2]

Renovations

In 2009, Martin Horn worked with the Piedmont Housing Alliance to renovate 50 apartments. [3]
