Meg S. Bryce

Meg Scalia Bryce was a candidate for the at-large seat on the Albemarle County School Board in the 2023 election.[1] She is the youngest daughter of former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.[2] None of Bryce's school-age children attend Albemarle County Public Schools.[3] The Bryce campaign is supported by Republicans, including coal magnate and prominent GOP donor Richard Baxter Gilliam[4] and Albemarle County GOP Chair John Lowry.[5] Bryce opposes ACPS's anti-racism policy and has argued that systemic racism is up for debate.[6]
