Mechum's Trestle is a site at the intersection of Virginia State Route 240 and U.S. Route 250 between Ivy and Crozet. It was home to numerous restaurants in the past, but sat vacant between the 1990s and 2016-17, when the shell of an aging, abandoned structure was torn down[1] and construction started on a new restaurant.[2] The construction is ongoing as of June 2017.

The early Albemarle County settler William Jarman established his home on 2.9 acres of land near the site of Mechum's Trestle in 1790.
