- 1895 – Charlottesville City Council held a special meeting in the morning to discuss the death of Alderman Benjamin F. Grove [1]
- 1925 – The final day of the Auto Show is held at the Armory [2]
- 2018 – Coy Barefoot named as executive director of the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society. [3]
- 2024 – For visitor safety, a temporary closure of Big Meadows was in effect from 6:00 a.m. March 13 through 10:00 a.m. March 14. Shenandoah National Park plans to conduct a prescribed burn of approximately 88 acres of the Big Meadow at mile 51 on Skyline Drive, weather permitting. Smoke may be visible in and around the Big Meadows area. Prescribed burns at Shenandoah National Park are conducted under the guidance and direction of trained and experienced personnel from the National Park Service.
