Lisa Green is a former member of the Board of Commissioners for the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority. She is also a former member of the Charlottesville Planning Commission. She is a resident of the Belmont-Carlton neighborhood and a zoning official with Albemarle County [1] and former campaign manager for former City Councilwoman Kristin Szakos.[2]

In the 2013 election, Green was campaign manager for Kristin Szakos’s successful bid for a second 4-year term on the City Council.[4]

- Green was appointed by the Charlottesville City Council (2010-2011) on October 18, 2010 to complete the unfinished term of Bill Emory. [5]

- As member of the Planning Commission, Green is on the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)[7]
- The August 11, 2020 Planning Commission regular meeting was Commissioner Green’s last official meeting as a commissioner with the Planning Commission.[8]
Scholastic education
In 1992, Green graduated from Muscle Shoals Community College in northern Alabama with an associates degree in drafting and design technology.

Green is a member of the Virginia Association of Zoning Officials, the Virginia Citizens Planning Association, the Virginia Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Virginia Zoning Officials Education Committee.
Interests
Green has been a member of Charlottesville Trail Running Club, the Charlottesville Bike Club, and the Albemarle County Wellness Committee.
