Leslie Pryor was appointed on January 23, 2025 to serve as the Rio District representative on the Albemarle County School Board. Pryor was appointed to fill a vacancy left when Charles Pace passed away. [1]

Biography
Pryor graduated from Virginia State University and at the time of her appointment was completing her Master of Public Safety at the University of Virginia. She currently serves as the Program Associate and Alumni Coordinator at the University of Virginia’s Sorensen Institute. Previous positions have been at Region Ten, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Department of Corrections. [1]
