Leigh B. Middleditch, Jr. serves as of counsel in the McGuireWoods LLP Charlottesville office and as Vice President of McGuireWoods Consulting LLC. Mr. Middleditch is a member of the Community Council of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce, a director and past chair of the Thomas Jefferson Partnership for Economic Development, co-founder of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership, member of the Board of Directors of Charlottesville Tomorrow, and chair of the Citizens Committee for City-County Cooperation.

Mr. Middleditch has also served on the University of Virginia's Board of Visitors, and as legal adviser and special counsel to the university. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in 1951, and an LL.B. degree in 1957. Mr. Middleditch resides in Albemarle County[1]

Middleditch was the 1986 recipient of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce's Paul Goodloe McIntire Citizenship Award.
