L.D. Britt is a former member of the UVA Board of Visitors, who served from 2014-2022.[1] He was appointed in 2014 by Governor McAuliffe alongside Frank M. Conner III, Barbara J. Fried, and John G. Macfarlane III.[2] At present, he is an accomplished medical practitioner and was elected in 2016 to the National Academy of Medicine.[3]
