King Family Vineyards is a winery located in Crozet operated by a family that moved to the area from Texas. In 1998, they were approached by someone who wanted to lease ten acres of their land. That piqued the family's interest in starting their own vineyard and winery. Production has climbed from 480 cases in 2000 to over 10,000 in 2016. An event space opened in 2007 and the tasting room is open year-round. [1]
