- 1976 – Nancy K. O'Brien selected as Mayor at her first meeting on Charlottesville City Council. [2]
- 2007 – Charlottesville City Council votes 4-1 on a resolution stating the Meadow Creek Parkway Interchange is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan with Councilor Dave Norris being the only vote against the resolution. [3]
