John O. "Dubby" Wynne was rector of the University of Virginia Board of Supervisors from July 1, 2009 until July 1, 2011.[1]
About
Formerly the President and CEO of Norfolk, VA-based Landmark Communications, Wynne was appointed to the Board of Visitors by Governor Mark Warner in March 2003. He graduated from Princeton University in 1967 and received his J.D. from the University in 1971.[1] Wynne also chaired the Special Committee on the Nomination of a President, which elected Teresa Sullivan in January 2010.[2]
