John M. Fray was elected to the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors to represent the Rivanna Magisterial District in the November 1919 election. Fray became chair of the board in 1924 and served in that position for almost two decades. [2]
Fray was also the owner of Fray's Mill. He died in 1943. [3]
