John Banks

John Banks registered in the Revolution as a free Negro in Goochland County on September 3, 1823: a man of colour, was 74 years of age the 25th day of last February, about six feet high. He enlisted in Goochland County about 1779, served for two years, and was discharged at the barracks in Albemarle County.[1]
