Irving Lindsay Leafe (April 18, 1879 – June 17, 1951) served as Charlottesville's chief-of-police.
On May 4, 1926, I. Lindsay Leafe, chief-of-police, was dismissed from office by the city commissioners. Mr. Maurice F. Greaver was appointed by Mayor J. Y. Brown on May 5, 1926 as acting chief. [1]
